So recently my youngest daughter informed me that it is time for a room overhaul… She gets that from me. ;). In any case, since she’s heading to high school soon, I think she’s about right. (Just FYI, no, that isn’t her up there… but if we get her room done, maybe she will grace us with a photo of that beautiful face? Perfect place to embarrass your teenage daughter? They call it the comments section. Yes, I know she doesn’t read them. She will :)) So in researching some ideas for her that might be within my budget and within my tolerance (winking good natured-ly here…) we came up with two surprises. First, teens are an image oriented generation, and not just on their cell phones. Second, they aren’t asking for the world here, just some individuality, and a chance to play with some pretty things before they have to leave home and pay their own water bill. Done. So here are some cute, cool, amazing and really fun teen girl bedroom ideas. Note: We went Pinterest trolling, so many of these photos are uploaded by the homeowners, or don’t have any good source. Please let us know if we missed crediting some one you know!

Another quick idea, using white lights and clothespins for photos… We are going to try this in my daughters room on a larger scale, and try using some more modern looking clips…
Did we mention teen girls are image oriented? Double sided tape or poster putty would work to create this photo wall. Really great way for teens to develop those connections with people they care about, and learn how precious those connections are.
Yep, another one. Cable, or picture framing wire and clips. Voila.
Need an accessory idea? Create meaningful words from paper mache letters from the craft store. Use paint, glue, whatever… make it cool!
Here is a quick project from Clever Thursday… these washi tape switch covers can be done quick, cheap and are temporary…perfect for dorms, or for teen girls who change their mind. A lot.
House of Turquoise has this great idea from designer Jenna Sue… using a Target trash can as a side table, with a good can of spray paint! Perfect idea for a teen room.
At first, the Pinterest world seemed to be at a loss for who made this lighted mirror garland, but I could imagine it’s on a teen girls wish list. Curtain rod, white mini lights, and a mirror curtain. We kept looking, and finally found the lighted garland tutorial on Apartment Therapy.
